Ghassoul

Ghassoul is a cosmetic made from natural mineral clay extracted from the Moroccan Atlas Mountains. Combined with water to cleanse the body, North African women have used it for centuries to care for their skin and hair. Ghassoul contains silica, iron, magnesium, potassium, sodium, lithium and natural cosmetic elements.
Ghassoul is also used traditionally as a shampoo, as it has excellent dirt and grease removing properties and gently cleanses the scalp without irritation. It is the perfect choice and very popular among Maghreb societies.
It is also used as a face mask by mixing it with water or honey, as this mask works to get rid of the yellowness and paleness of the face and make it more fresh and smooth. It should be applied to the face once a week to get the best results.
